Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician with Solar knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in electrical systems, including low voltage and industrial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of schematics, blueprint reading, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, renovations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Lead and manage electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring and logic controllers.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical work on-site.
- Provide guidance and training to junior electricians and apprentices as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Valid Master Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage applications, and logic controllers.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards on construction sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
