Partner with our technical staff to plan and lead a variety of strategic marketing assignments which can range from qualifications statements to complex proposals and presentations. Duties:
•Utilize discretion and independent judgment to direct the development, creation, and completion of marketing projects for AZTEC, which primarily includes leading proposal pursuits. Key elements include conceptualizing, researching, and producing winning marketing materials and proposals to further AZTEC’s business. In this role, the Marketing Project Manager will develop the strategy and lead the development of a resource plan to ensure a timely and compliant response; coordinate with members of the proposal pursuit team for required proposal elements; plan, schedule, and lead color review meetings; lead the creation of compelling graphics and original layouts; and support presentations and interviews where necessary.
•Develop, implement, and manage written and visual content by providing professional writing, technical editing, and proofreading on marketing materials and communications.
•Assist with storyboarding and message development for strategic pursuits and company presentations.
•Assign work tasks to marketing support staff, such as the Assistant Marketing Coordinator or Graphic Designer.
•Participate in business development functions as needed, such as representing AZTEC at corporate functions outside of the office.
•Ensure AZTEC’s brand (i.e. logo use, company boilerplate information, etc.) on all marketing materials and communications.
•Maintain marketing library updates, such as the upkeep of resumes, project descriptions, company photos, and other proprietary information.
•Other tasks as directed.
Job Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
•Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent with 20 years of experience managing, creating, and developing original complex proposals, presentations, and related sales or business development deliverables; proven talent and intelligence in the architectural/engineering industry is a must.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related fields such as Journalism, Communications, English, Business, a technical/scientific discipline, or related field from an accredited university with 15+ years of experience managing, creating, and developing original complex proposals, presentations, and related sales or business development deliverables; proven talent and intelligence in the architectural/engineering industry is a must.
•Advanced application and knowledge of creative and administrative software including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
•Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
•Analytic and decision-making skills related to marketing deliverables and judgment regarding underlying business objectives.
•Advanced English writing and editing skills, with an eye toward messaging, themes, proposal aesthetics, and content.
•Self-starter and independent thinker who requires little or no direction, can exercise creative judgment regarding marketing projects, and can consistently deliver in a deadline-driven environment.

Working Conditions and Environment:
This position will require general supervision and will have to use independent judgment within established guidelines. Generally, uses the advanced knowledge to analyze, interpret, or make deductions from varying facts or circumstances. Will need the ability to establish rapport quickly with others working on the same project, and be able to promote a positive team environment. Working knowledge of dealing with a diverse population while using tact, diplomacy, and respect.
