Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to oversee commercial flooring projects. This position will manage projects sold by our Portland office and also offers the opportunity to pursue, bid, and manage new work independently within the Bend/Redmond area. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in commercial construction, with strong project coordination and client communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage all phases of commercial flooring projects in the Bend region, from pre-construction through closeout.
•Act as the local project lead for jobs sold and supported by the Portland HQ, ensuring effective coordination across teams.
•Oversee field activities, subcontractors, material logistics, and project schedules.
•Track project budgets and performance metrics, resolving challenges to ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction.
•Collaborate with Portland-based estimators, project coordinators, and operations staff for project alignment and support.
•Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, and facility managers in Central Oregon.
•Proactively identify, bid, and manage new project opportunities in the region, helping expand company presence in Central Oregon.
•Ensure jobsite safety, accurate documentation, and contract compliance.
Qualifications:
•3+ years of experience in commercial construction project management; experience with flooring or interiors is a plus.
•Strong understanding of construction schedules, drawings/specs, and subcontractor management.
•Comfortable working independently while maintaining close communication with the Portland team.
•Knowledge of the Central Oregon construction market and local contacts preferred.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with construction or project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus.
•Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for site visits and meetings.
