FOR Energy is looking for an A-Player Shows & Events Manager to completely own and elevate our entire live event, trade show, and partnership strategy across the Valley. This is not just a coordination role—it is a high-stakes, high-reward position responsible for a major sales pipeline engine.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $150,000+ Annually (Competitive Base Salary + Aggressive Performance Bonus)
- Impact: Directly responsible for generating a significant percentage of the company's annual new business pipeline through Home Shows, Tabling Events and Retail lead generation opportunities.
- Leadership: Build, train, and manage a team of Brand Ambassadors and an Event Coordinator.
- Autonomy: Full ownership of the event calendar, vendor selection, budget management, and partnership execution.
As our Shows & Events Manager, you will transform our events from logistics into strategic profit centers.
- Strategic Event Ownership: Develop a comprehensive, data-backed strategy for all major shows, local events, and community partnerships. Manage a significant annual budget to maximize ROI and appointment volume.
- Team Leadership & Performance: Hire, mentor, and lead a high-energy team of Brand Ambassadors and an Event Coordinator. Instill a culture of professionalism, urgency, and appointment-setting excellence to consistently meet or exceed company booking goals.
- Partnership & Sponsorships: Identify, pitch, negotiate, and execute high-value strategic partnerships and sponsorships that provide exclusive lead generation opportunities and amplify the FOR Energy brand.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all event logistics from vendor contracts and venue sourcing to on-site execution, ensuring a flawless, high-quality brand experience every time.
- Data-Driven Results: Provide rigorous post-event analysis and reporting, tying every dollar spent directly to appointments booked, sales closed, and overall ROI. Utilize data to continuously refine and optimize our event strategy.The ideal candidate views events as a critical channel for sales and marketing, not just an organizational task.
- Proven Event Leadership: (3+ years preferred) of demonstrated success managing large-scale events, trade shows, or promotional campaigns with significant budgetary and revenue responsibility.
- Sales Acumen: Experience in, or a deep understanding of, direct-response marketing or sales—the ability to train a team to engage attendees and book quality appointments is critical.
- Project & Budget Mastery: Elite-level project management skills and experience managing multi-venue logistics and event budgets.
- Exceptional Communication: The polish and professionalism required to negotiate high-level partnerships and manage vendor relationships.
- Leadership Track Record: Proven ability to successfully hire, train, and manage a high-performing field team.
- Flexibility: Must be available for weekend events (Saturdays and Sundays are big event days).
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle is required for travel to and from event sites (mileage reimbursement provided).
