Marketing Communication Manager is responsible for creating, developing, and implementing digital and physical strategic marketing campaigns and growth initiatives that add to the success of the brand and accelerate revenue across all segments. Use your creativity and innovation to help guide the idea creation of creative campaigns and the development of strategic marketing communication plans for targeted markets, businesses, and regions.
This position reports to the VP of Corporate Strategy and Business Development providing cross functional strategy, communication, and support throughout the organization. This role will also collaborate with creative agencies and vendors to ensure business goals are achieved.
- Collaborate with the Executive leadership to expand and grow a national marketing communications strategy.
- Determine what communication messages drive awareness and growth in all social channels, leading and facilitating all aspects of content strategy and development. This role will be responsible for monitoring, writing, and analyzing all social channels and ensuring communication and branding is aligned with company goals, values and vision.
- Trade shows and events for the company: Coordinate the approval and selection of events, graphic design, and coordination of company presence from attendees, communication of brand and marketing campaign for the event. This role may include some travel and attend trade shows and events
- Manage the development of presentations and content for customer meetings with the flexibility to deliver and communicate virtually or in person.
- Manage the marketing budget and communicate monthly
- Analyze and participate in the market discovery process. Utilize existing research or initiate research to validate the different decision influencers in the energy industry and incorporate findings into content strategy.
- Supports public relations activities and collaborates with management on marketing, promotion and communication
- Capabilities to develop and grow a team of direct reports to support above duties.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5-7 years of marketing or communications, preferred experience within Energy and Industrial Process markets
- Provide a portfolio supporting experience in social media, advertising and public relations
- Literacy with computer and software programs in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Photoshop and Illustrator. Other media and website design software packages a plus.
- High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness with strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal direction
