We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our marketing team. The Marketing Assistant will focus on writing website and social media content, gathering photos and videos of projects, and overseeing multiple marketing campaigns.
· Write engaging and compelling website and social media content to showcase company products and services.
· Capture photos and videos at project sites for use in website content and social media campaigns.
· Assist with the coordination of local home shows to represent the company. Including booth staffing, setup/breakdown, packing materials, post-show analysis, lead tracking, and improvement suggestions.
· Contribute to department goals by taking ownership of new tasks and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
· Occasionally, research and pursue award opportunities, including writing and submitting entries.
· Work closely with the Marketing Director and Coordinator to achieve department goals.
· 1-2 years of experience in an internship and/or professional environment in Communication or Marketing.
· Superior writing skills using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
· Strong self-starter with excellent organization, storytelling, problem-solving, and time management skills.
· Able and willing to visit local, active installations weekly for content gathering and educational purposes; reliable transportation is required.
· Exhibit a sense of urgency and ownership of assigned and department projects to achieve deadlines.
· Ability to work independently and as a team.
· Open to learning new skills and being challenged to expand role in the future.
· High proficiency with software packages such as Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media.
