Marketing/Admin Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is for a Marketing & Administrative Assistant working out of our Plymouth, MA location. The Marketing & Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting both the marketing department—primarily through managing social media platforms and content—and general administrative office operations. This dual-role position plays a key part in promoting the Egan Landscape Group brand while ensuring smooth internal workflow and communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

OBJECTIVES
•Develop and schedule engaging social media content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
•Capture on-site photos/videos and work with leadership to promote brand and team culture
•Track social media performance metrics and compile regular engagement reports
•Respond to social media comments and messages or route them to the appropriate team member
•Provide administrative support to office operations including answering phones, routing calls, and assisting customers
•Maintain digital content libraries, organize internal documents, and assist with formatting company reports or presentations
•Assist in internal and external communications, newsletter creation, and promotional campaign execution
•Help coordinate event logistics including marketing efforts, signage, and social media promotion
•Support leadership team with scheduling, document preparation, and general office needs
•Maintain a professional, consistent brand voice across all external-facing channels
COMPETENCIES
•Strong content creation and digital communication skills, including the ability to write, design, and edit
•Proficiency in Canva, CapCut (or similar), Google Workspace, and social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube)
•Excellent verbal and written communication for dealing with customers, vendors, and teammates
•Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, managing both digital and clerical responsibilities
•Organizational and planning skills for managing content calendars, event logistics, and internal workflow
•High attention to detail, especially in document proofreading, image editing, and data entry
•Adaptability to shifting tasks and new marketing tools or trends
•Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support other departments when needed
•Ability to handle sensitive company information with discretion and confidentiality
•Customer-first mindset to ensure positive public perception and brand experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
•1+ year experience in a marketing, administrative, or content-related role
•Strong communication and customer service skills
•Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
•Prior experience in a landscaping, construction, or service-based company is a plus
•Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Canva required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
•The role may involve occasional standing and walking to retrieve files, take photos/videos on job sites, or assist with office tasks. The ability to lift and carry equipment or promotional materials up to 25 pounds is necessary. Visual acuity is essential for reviewing content, editing images, and using a computer screen. Strong hearing and speaking abilities are required for effective communication in person, over the phone, and in virtual meetings. Occasional bending or reaching may be needed for storage or setup duties.
