Job Summary:
The Market Assistant Manager is a non-exempt position supporting the administrative and operational functions of our construction and telecommunications projects. Also responsible for managing project documents, coordinating communications, assisting project managers, and ensuring smooth workflow across multiple tasks. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Process and retrieve construction documents and project-related information.
- Manage communications with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Handle data entry and maintain accurate project records.
- Automate administrative processes to improve efficiency.
- Answer phones and emails, and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Organize and maintain filing systems and document management.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and project schedules.
- Provide support to the project management team as needed.
- Familiarity with using AI tools and software for business tasks is a major plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and paperwork simultaneously.
- Competence with standard office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace).
- Understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project documentation is beneficial.
Any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge and abilities listed qualifies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in administrative support, project coordination, or office management is preferred.
The normal work hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm, with extended hours and required overtime when needed; May also include overnight and weekend work depending on project schedules.
