Manufacturing Quality Engineer

New Product Development & Project Quality Support

- Assist in implementing quality management activities during new product introduction (NPI), from prototype to mass production.

- Participate in product testing, validation, and issue analysis.

- Support preparation of quality-related documents such as Control Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and inspection instructions.

Manufacturing Quality Control

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

- Assist in root cause analysis and resolution of manufacturing defects using tools such as FMEA and 8D.

- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns on the shop floor and drive corrective actions.

Supplier Quality Management

- Assist in evaluating new suppliers and monitoring existing supplier performance.

- Help track and follow up on supplier-related quality issues and corrective action plans.

- Support the Quality Manager in reviewing and validating 8D reports from suppliers.

Documentation & Compliance

- Help prepare and maintain PPAP documentation for customer approval.

- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation complies with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.

- Support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement of the quality management system (QMS).

Customer & Team Support

- Coordinate with customer representatives on product quality concerns as needed.

- Provide technical support to internal teams and participate in training initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
