- Accountable for monitoring/auditing, documenting and improving key quality measurables related to process control within our manufacturing environment. (internal defects and process deviations, customer quality rejects, and rework)
- Developing and improving quality inspection fixtures and frequency methods
- Ensuring that processes adhere to quality standards
- Managing Customer quality rejects and leading teams toward corrective and preventative action
- Preparing reports related to rework and customer quality rejects by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
- Implementing corrective actions that reduce rework, improve on-time delivery and customer quality rejects
- Managing inspection equipment calibration and control
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods, error proofing tools and quality manufacturing processes using SolidWorks
- Helping to eliminate waste and improve process efficiencies
- Designing and implementing weld and assembly fixtures
- Designing and implementing inspection and check fixtures
- Creating quality visual standards and aids per customer requirements
- Proposing product design changes to support ease of manufacturing
- PPAP all new customer products, including all inspection, testing and documentation
- Responding to customer quality rejects and lead a team to corrective action that will quality and prevent recurrence
- Accountable for monitoring/auditing, document and improving key quality measurables related to process control within our manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years of experience in engineering/quality
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Ability to break down complex systems into simple components
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Technically savvy
- Mechanically Inclined
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to work with a team
- Experience with higher volume production a plus
- SolidWorks Experience a plus
