The Manager – SCM Technical Sales oversees daily operations and execution of technical sales strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs and supply chain capabilities. This role supports sales growth through product expertise, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead and manage a team of technical sales representatives (inside and outside).
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with supply chain and business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance on product specifications, applications, and solutions.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and supply management groups to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and vendors.
- Support territory analysis and market development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and ethical standards.
- Facilitate training and development of sales staff.
- Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high service standards.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work/industry experience in Supply Chain operations.
- Four (4) years of supervisory experience or demonstrated capability to supervise.
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) and additional post-secondary training or education.
- Any combination of five or more years in customer service, inside sales, and/or warehouse services in a position with increasing responsibility, to include demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of computers and software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and promote ideas and transfer detailed knowledge to others.
- Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
- Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others; to understand and interpret safety instructions; and to respond to inquiries.
