What is a Manager – Reliability Compliance?
The Manager - Reliability Compliance is responsible for ensuring corporate adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements set forth by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NPCC), and New York State Reliability Council (NYSRC). This role involves developing, maintaining, and administering policies and procedures to guarantee compliance. This position requires active participation in industry forums and regulatory bodies, as well as close collaboration with internal teams to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
What does Manager – Reliability Compliance do?* Develops, maintains and administers policies and procedures to ensure corporate compliance with all applicable Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NPCC) and New York State Reliability Council (NYSRC) requirements.What does it take to be a Manager – Reliability Compliance? Required:* Bachelor’s degree in Business or Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering with 3 years of related work experience in electric transmission/distribution planning, protection, and/or operations
Preferred:* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
