Job Description

- Lead the organization in process excellence by leading the development and execution of a comprehensive enterprise operational excellence vision and roadmap; overseeing enterprise-wide process mapping, documentation, and optimization efforts; and establishing and maintaining a process governance framework to ensure consistency and sustainability.

- Aligns process improvement initiatives with company strategy, business opportunities, and regulatory requirements. Serves as a key leader in the enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives and large-scale projects, including Enterprise Resource Planning.

- Partners with senior leadership to identify and prioritize transformational opportunities. Engages with key stakeholders to understand pain points and improvement opportunities.

- Champions a culture of continuous improvement using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and others. Identifies and eliminates inefficiencies, reducing costs, and improving service delivery across departments and to our customers.

- Develops, tracks, and communicates key performance indicators, including objective and key results to measure process performance, improve outcomes, and drive strategic opportunity implementation. Define and measure Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure alignment with ERP project goals and enterprise strategy.

- Communicates process changes and benefits effectively across all levels of the organization. Provides training and support to build internal capabilities in process excellence.

- Manages personnel, including hiring, performance management, coaching, employee engagement, continuous education, training, and development.

- Develops and implements work plans, standard operating procedures, program improvements, and best practices; responsible for instituting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Ensures activities, services and/or products are compliant with applicable regulations, rules, policies, and procedures.

- Fosters a positive and supportive work environment; promotes inclusion & belonging in the workplace; and contributes to an environment of mutual respect.


Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited college or university in a technical, communications, or related field required.

- Minimum seven (7)+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in areas such as process improvement, Lean/Six Sigma, innovation, change management and/or project management.

- Preference given to individuals with at least three (3) years of demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others to achieve objectives required.

- Lean, Six Sigma (Black Belt/Master Black Belt) certification (or equivalent) preferred or willing to obtain within one year in role.

- Demonstrative experience in Design Thinking and/or other methodologies for advancing innovation.

- Ability to effectively respond to changes in the business environment, understand implications and adjust priorities as needed on short notice

- Demonstrated effective use of project management, change management, and other disciplines to influence multiple workgroups.

- Broad understanding of business processes in finance, HR, supply chain, operations, and/or procurement.

- Effective leadership skills, including the ability to attract, retain, and motivate competent and professional staff.

- Effective and adaptable verbal and written communication skills.

- Demonstrated presentation skills and ability to create presentations for delivery to various audiences.

- Ability to influence others, negotiate to successful resolution and engage in effective problem solving.

Hiring Range:

$109,815 to $144,406

Hybrid work options are available for this role. The successful candidate will be required to work at our Spokane offices at least 3 days per week including Mondays and Tuesdays with additional day(s) determined by the manager.
