Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. Responsible for Freeport-McMoRan maintenance operations in the Americas and PTFI and its future direction within the company. Coordinates with the Multiple Site Managers maintenance processes at the FCX sites. Responsible for evaluating maintenance needs and ensuring that specific standardized processes and measurements are established with accountable parties identified. This position will drive best practices as well as resource sharing.

This Manager, will manage the maintenance function with a blend of traditional and matrix reporting structures through influence. The position will have joint responsibility for budgets, forecasting and cost controls for maintenance with the multiple Site Leadership Teams. This position will also be responsible for all safety, production, employee development, new technology implementation and other organizational related goals as it impacts the maintenance organization.

This position supports the site operations globally and implements change by building relationships, influencing and using data for supporting and driving decisions. Work closely with other organization leaders and sponsors to ensure good communication and expectation management.

Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance.  Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration.  Long-term incentives are contingent upon authorized approval under the terms and conditions of the Company's plan and award agreements.  More details will be shared during the hiring process.
