The Laborer also backfills all operator positions within the plant for planned and unplanned absences and assists the maintenance crew as required.

Electrical Supervisor
who will have a positive impact on the
Operations
team at its
Blue Mountain
location. As an
Electrical Supervisor
, you will supervise, schedule, and direct maintenance personnel, coordinating with other supervisors to accomplish daily maintenance requirements for mobile equipment, stationary equipment, plant buildings and other facilities.
Roles and Responsibilities
•Review entered “emergency” fault reports on a daily basis prior to the 7am kick off meeting. Allocate work to your designated work team as needed.
•Review the shift notes from the previous 24 hours prior to the 7am kick off meeting and follow up with Operations supervisors as needed for clarification on any ongoing issues that may not have been captured.
•Convey the daily work plan to the Maintenance Manager prior to 7am.
•Conduct separate daily pre shift toolbox meetings. Include safety related items, INA’s and all other pertinent information.
•Hand out daily work orders each morning with clear instructions and answer questions as needed with your designated work group.
•Conduct WPI’s and SBI’s as prescribed. Document these interactions in the current company prescribed format.
•Coach employees as needed on Safety, PEE and work Procedures.
•Work with the Scheduler and Planner to forecast work required in the coming weeks and have it added to the weekly maintenance schedule.
•Manage your work teams daily time reports in the company prescribed Payroll system ie. UKG.
•Work with the other members of the maintenance management team to cover vacations and absences for other work group leaders.
•Take an ownership role of the compressed air needs for the site including air compressors and Driers and Receivers. Maintain records of Daily Dew point readings, schedule contracted maintenance and make recommendations of spare parts needed for reliability.
•Participate actively as needed in the Continuous improvement process. Scope and execute projects related to these efforts as needed.
•Produce a daily report on all maintenance performed by your designated work team and forward it to area managers prior to the end of the day. This report is to provide a breakdown of planned work completed as well as define any emergency corrective work that was conducted throughout the day.
•Develop and manage capital projects as needed to maintain or improve plant infrastructure.
•Cover absences within the Maintenance management team where required.
•All other duties as assigned that may pertain to the success of the NSO Maintenance team.
Dust Collector Team
•Direct and supervise the plant Dust collector maintenance team. Generate Work orders required, close out returned workorders and charge parts out in the CMMS.
•Review operations manuals and update spare parts lists as required with the assistance of the planner or scheduler as needed.
•Ensure dusting issues are addressed in a timely manner to remain within environmental guidelines.
•Maintain the plant Dust collector CMP manual.
•Ensure that dust collector daily readings are taken reviewed and filed as required.
•Keep up to date records of all Dust collector and product filter maintenance and forward the exported Excel document to the Environmental QC department as requested.
•Review PM’s and work orders to determine if changes are required to improve efficiency.
•Review PM frequency and make adjustments as needed to improve reliability.
Electrical Team
•Direct and supervise the plant Electrical maintenance team at Both Plants. Generate Work orders required, close out returned workorders and charge parts out in the CMMS. Utilize the Department subforeman at both plants to aid in this.
•Ensure that daily electrical maintenance is carried out meeting all related safety requirement.
•Ensure Electrical PPE is up to date and tested as required within the mandated intervals.
•Ensure that Prescribed annual IR and Grounding studies are completed prior to September each year and that instrumentation utilized is calibrated as needed prior to commencing these studies.
•Ensure that yearly substation maintenance is performed at both sites as needed. Manage down time required contractors on site, job scope and bid documents as needed. Arrange for supplemental support equipment for outages as required. Produce summarized reports on the findings of these inspections to be forwarded to the management team along with recommendations for future work required.
•Maintain up to date One lines for all plant electrical systems
•Review and rationalize Spare parts for electrical equipment. Make recommendations on Min and Max levels. Work with procurement and the Planner to have spare parts entered into IFS.
•Work with the procurement department to manage and maintain “Critical Spares” levels both on site and in the Peterborough Warehouse.
•Work with Procurement or delegate competent assistance to complete audits of over $2500 items as needed.
•Work with Vendors to maintain up to date drawings and manuals in IFS linked to the Specific assets for all electrical requirements.
•Meet with Vendors and OEM’s as needed to source new maintenance materials, equipment and technology to be utilized at site to contribute to overall equipment reliability.
•Work with the Maintenance team to scope tasks and create “Safe Work Procedures” for your work group. These would include but not be limited to; Tools required to complete the task, Parts required, Step by step instructions on how to complete the task. These would also include hoisting and rigging requirements, Safety gear and so on.
•Scope and Manage small contractor driven project as required.
•Enter Purchase Req’s as needed for contractor and non inventory parts required for planned future tasks.

The Successful Incumbent Will Have The Following Minimum Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an Engineering field required or certification with the Skilled Trades Ontario
•3-5 years’ experience in a technical position required
•Must possess strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
