We are looking for an experienced Electrical Manager to lead our electrical department, which supports mining operations with supplemental labor for electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role will focus on managing electrical teams, coordinating labor resources, and ensuring that all electrical tasks are performed efficiently and safely on-site. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing electrical scopes of work and a proven ability to lead teams to successful project completion.

Position Overview:
As the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the electrical department. You will coordinate resources, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and ensure the efficient execution of electrical tasks, from installation to troubleshooting, across mining sites.
You will play a key role in staffing, training, and developing the electrical team while working closely with project managers, site supervisors, and other departments to ensure electrical needs are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and manage the electrical department, including overseeing supplemental labor assignments for mining operations.
•Coordinate and assign electrical technicians and labor resources for various mining projects, ensuring proper staffing levels and skill sets.
•Supervise and mentor electrical personnel, providing training and guidance on safe and effective work practices.
•Ensure all electrical work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
•Monitor and manage electrical job costs, materials, equipment, and schedules to meet project timelines.
•Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring minimal downtime on mining equipment.
•Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure the electrical scope of work aligns with the overall project plan.
•Maintain strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
•Develop and maintain a culture of safety and quality control across all electrical work performed.
•Ensure accurate documentation of electrical work performed, including time reports, material usage, and progress updates.
Qualifications:
•Electrical Journeyman Trade Certification
•5+ years of experience managing electrical projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
•Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
•Experience in coordinating and managing supplemental labor resources for large-scale projects.
•Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for electrical systems.
•Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•Familiarity with mining electrical systems and equipment is a plus.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
•Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Ability to obtain electrical license in any state where work is being performed.
