The Manager Lean Management Training Development is responsible for compiling and maintaining training standards and SOPs, their accuracy, validity, and relevance. Will also be responsible for developing training programs and managing employee training records.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
•Training Needs Assessment:
•Compile and maintain SOPs and relevant training curriculum for various roles including but not limited to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Accountant, Project Coordinator, Oracle, VDC, Estimating, Purchasing, Materials Management, Prefabrication, and Effective Labor Management.
•Training Program Design and Development:
•Obtain approvals for all means and methods outlined in the SOPs
•Ensure the accuracy, validity, and relevance of all training materials and SOPs
•Collaborate with subject matter experts in the functional departments to obtain/develop engaging and effective learning content.
•Incorporate various learning methodologies, such as instructor-led training, e-learning, workshops, and simulations, to ensure comprehensive learning experiences. Develop diverse training formats such as face-to-face/classroom, web-based, Teams conferencing, etc, and supports other facilitators as needed.
•Training Delivery and Facilitation:
•Facilitate training sessions for employees, including new hire orientation, onboarding programs, leadership development workshops, technical skills training, and soft skills training.
•Utilize effective training techniques and tools to engage participants and promote active learning.
•Coordinate with trainers, guest speakers, and external training providers as needed.
•Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
•Collaborate with HR, department heads, and key stakeholders to align training initiatives with business goals and strategic objectives.
•Build relationships with external training partners, vendors, and industry associations to stay informed about new training methodologies and resources.
•Documentation and Reporting:
•Coordinate staffing logs and manage training records for all employees in a centralized database.
•Establish refresher training criteria for all curriculums.
•Implement an electronic notification process for employee training and refresher requirements
•Create and maintain training videos based on SOPs.
•Conduct pre-construction training for all new projects.
•Perform any other duties as assigned
Show Your Expertise
•Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field required or 10+ years training experience
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Performs tasks accurately and thoroughly and self-checks work
•Effective communicator to all levels in the organization
•Effective collaboration across functions and geographies
•Ability to connect, inspire, and influence others without direct reporting relationships
•Prior experience in construction project management preferred
•Prior experience in corporate training
