About This Job

Closing Date: May 23, 2025

Teck is a leading Canadian resource company focused on responsibly providing the metals essential for global development and the energy transition while caring for the people, communities and land that we love.

Teck's two regional business units, North America and Latin America, are responsible for Teck's assets through all phases of safe, sustainable development, operation and closure. The business units are supported by enterprise-wide functions that set strategic direction, establish standards and provide governance, as well as supporting the business through shared services, centres of excellence and business partnering.

Reporting to the Head, Government & Regulatory Affairs, the Manager, Government & Regulatory Affairs is responsible for leading and providing strategic government relations support and advocacy. While the focus of this role is North American jurisdictions, this position also manages our trade and commercial government affairs activities in jurisdictions where the company is active.

The successful candidate will have outstanding skills in the principles and practices of government relations, regulatory affairs and communications – including analysis, policy development, planning, strategy formulation, content development and issues management. This role interacts extensively with internal management and teams across Teck’s operations in a consultative, advisory, and directive capacity.
