Maintenance Technician

We are looking to expand our current Maintenance team with a Maintenance Technician. This position is based in Scenery Hill, Washington County, PA. Under direction and supervision of the Maintenance Manager, performs semi-skilled to highly skilled maintenance on various projects throughout the plant. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. The schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.

Shift Differential PAY, if you work:

- Sunday - Thursday 11pm night shift: +$1 onto base pay - Monday - Friday 3pm afternoon shift: +$1 Saturday - Sunday 7am day shift: +$1 onto base pay - Saturday - Sunday 3pm afternoon shift: +$2 Friday - Saturday 11pm night shift: +$2 onto base pay

Job Duties

- Ability to effectively analyze and successfully troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.

- Tests and determines problems associated with single phase and 3 phase electrical systems and motors.

- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems.

- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.

- Conducts routine preventive maintenance.

- Inspects buildings, structures, physical plant equipment and fixtures; identifies maintenance and repair requirements.

- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports when needed, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Detail oriented.

- Able to problem solve effectively.

- Must be organized.

- Able to work quickly under pressure.

Experience & Position Requirements

- Must have maintenance experience, preventive and corrective, including work on pneumatics, electrical, electronics, mechanical, welding, motor control circuits and air and power tools.

- Basic record keeping techniques.

- Basic math.

- Must have a working knowledge of computer applications.

- Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.

- Forklift driving experience desired.
