Job Overview:
The primary duties of a Maintenance Technician include performing diagnostic tests on company vehicles to find faults, analyzing diagnostic test results and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
•Repairs and preventive maintenance to be performed in conformance with established standards.
•Recognizes and corrects potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and communicates this to Manager.
•Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity.
•Ensures compliance with all company / customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
•Technician must be able to work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment. “Safety First” expectations include, but are not limited to process, and compliance with all company / site safety guidelines and procedures.
•Responsible for proper/care/cleaning of tools, parts
•Perform machine shop work operating various machines such as drill presses, grinders, welders, plasma torches, cutting equipment, pneumatic tools and electric/manual hand tools,
•Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
•Aptitude for mathematics and science
•Physically fit and able to lift up to 150 pounds.
•Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools.
•Good interpersonal skills.
•Excellent verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
•Automotive Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
