The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Planning & Control Maintenance Team in Long Harbour. Relocation to the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador will be required for this role.

This is a permanent on-site position, working a 4x10s Monday to Thursday schedule at our Long Harbour Operations Site.

As a Maintenance Planner you will be a critical part of the maintenance engineering and reliability system that conforms to Vale standards and world class best practices. This position is responsible for the proper planning of all major maintenance activities and the execution of project controls within the facility and for monitoring and analyzing maintenance reports, work orders, and history. Your experience and skills will optimize effective and efficient procedures, planning, and scheduling.
