Summary:
Seeking an experienced maintenance planner/scheduler that has maintenance experience that schedules preventive and regular maintenance with minimal interruption to production operations. In this capacity, the maintenance planner/coordinator is the principal contact and liaison person between maintenance and production and other supporting departments in relation to determining the timing for execution of planned maintenance work. Additionally, the maintenance scheduler ensures that all internal customers of maintenance receive timely, efficient, and quality services. The maintenance scheduler will adhere to state, federal and in-house maintenance guidelines to prevent safety hazards, increase equipment longevity and improve productivity. The maintenance scheduler is also responsible for observing, following, and enforcing all safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Maximizing operating profit through using planned and scheduled maintenance.
•Quickly returning equipment to design capability through using planned maintenance most effectively.
•Maximizing equipment availability and reliability through most effectively using planned and scheduled maintenance.
•Communicating status and changes to customer service or directly to customers.
•Coordinates predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling.
•The Maintenance Planner/Coordinator will monitor the SAP system.
•Work with crew supervisors to coordinate work through planning that is approved to disrupt the current week's schedule of work.
•Work with crew supervisors to develop schedules for short-notice outage work (SNOW).
•Provide technical expertise and support for the planning and scheduling of Maintenance.
•Plans all works ensuring equipment availability and that work orders have Materials, Labor, Special Tools, Safety Permits defined.
•Follow-up problem-solve, troubleshoot processes, communicating scheduling information and status of maintenance work issues with customers and staff.
•Determine work plans based upon site-wide field trips, priority, available work force, and other criteria, review plans and schedules with associated management.
•Develops revised and review related SOPs or job plans/work plans for work related areas.
•Schedules Major and Minor Site Outages, including Maintenance shutdowns, minimizing the impact to Operations.
•Schedule work by asset criticality and priority ranking and work with operations for asset or system availability.
•Work with stock room MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) to pull parts and kit material for planned work.
•Develop integrated maintenance schedules and implement fundamental reliability and maintenance optimization principles in the scheduling process.
•Ensure the improvement of Performance, Availability and Quality (OEE) after every minor or major outage and scheduled maintenance activities.

Qualifications:
•B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
•10 Years of Maintenance experience, required.
•3 Years of experience as a Maintenance planner/coordinator, required.
•Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background, drug, and alcohol screen.
•Must be available to work 12-hour day and night shifts, weekends, callouts, and overtime.
•Must be able to drive a forklift to perform material handling functions.
•Must be able to work independently with production, project engineering and maintenance to arrange for equipment availability based on requirements.
