Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic/Welding professional to join our manufacturing facility. This role is vital for ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of industrial equipment, utilizing a broad range of technical skills including welding, electrical, hydraulics, and mechanical troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and CMMS systems, with a strong focus on safety, precision, and customer service. - Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Conduct welding operations, welding, using various techniques and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components, using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Repair hydraulic systems, including hydraulics components and related machinery.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Operate industrial tools such as sciss safely for maintenance tasks at elevated heights.
- Utilize CMMS software to document maintenance activities, track parts inventory, and schedule future work.
- Collaborate with production teams to coordinate repairs with minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Provide technical support in areas such as HVAC/R systems and mechanical repairs as needed.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with precision measuring instruments and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on welding experience.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting high voltage and low voltage systems using ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
- Experience operating field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently..
