Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to help us maintain or food production equipment and facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.

- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.

- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.

- Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.

- Maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

- Read and interpret schematics to assist in repairs and installations.

- Provide leadership and supervision to junior maintenance staff when necessary.

- Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients.

- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.

Required

- 2+ year of recent Maintenance Mechanic experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

- Comfortable working in a cold environment, our product is meat and it must be stored and handled cold.

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday with overtime and some Saturdays when needed.

Pay: Based on experience and is negotiable.
