What you'll do
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for world-class maintenance management of Niron's Minneapolis-based R&D and Commercial Pilot facilities. These facilities develop and pilot production of Niron's rare-earth free magnets. The Maintenance Manager will lead a group of engineers and technicians that are responsible for all facilities, processes, and analytical equipment, both existing and under procurement. This position will report to Niron's Senior Manager of Facilities and will be based out of Niron's Minneapolis, MN facility. Specifically, this position will:
•Partner with engineers, technicians, vendors and contractors to maintain and install the equipment and facilities infrastructure that Niron relies on to produce products
•Carry out inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure functionality and implement fixes as identified
•Plan and assist with repair and maintenance activities
•Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
•Continuously improve and build upon Niron's sustainability
•Ensure all building automation systems meet operational requirements and keeps Niron employees safe and informed
•Comply, motivate and ensure Health and Safety Policies are followed
•Lead, manage and develop a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high performing maintenance to ensure the safety of our employees and quality of our products
•Implement and maintain a maintenance management system
•Provide support for capital projects
•Lead small scale capital projects
•Develop Maintenance Dashboard and report regularly showing areas for continuous improvement
•A demonstrated performance of successful plant maintenance showing improvements in Plant performance
•Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
What we're looking for
•Bachelor's or higher degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field
•Minimum 10+ years of direct experience maintaining facilities and equipment in commercial production environments
•Experience leading and developing a team – solid leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
•Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
•Deep understanding of all relevant building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation and other core building systems
•Experience in maintaining a wide range of building, utility and process plant equipment
•Ability to "figure things out"

Our pay and benefits
•Salary: $105,000 -$135,000 annually, depending on education, experience and skills
