We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee our maintenance team in our Welcome, North Carolina facility.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring efficient setup, installation, repair, and upkeep of machinery, metal fabrication tools, and facility infrastructure. This role is responsible for developing and executing maintenance strategies, while ensuring compliance, safety, and alignment with production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead and supervise the maintenance team by providing training, coaching, and support.
•Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
•Maintain and ensure the optimal performance of equipment such as machining centers, press brakes, shears, and other metal fabrication machinery.
•Oversee building and facility maintenance, including electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
•Manage maintenance budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
•Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company policies.
•Promote continuous improvement and implement quality control measures for maintenance operations.
•Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align maintenance activities with production needs.
•Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, and performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management.
Required Qualifications:
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
•Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance processes, and best practices.
•Hands-on experience with PLCs (programmable logic controllers), including troubleshooting and programming.
•Proven skills in electrical troubleshooting, fault detection, and repairs.
•Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
•Knowledge of electrical design, installation, and applicable codes/standards.
•Experience applying reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies.
•Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
