Maintenance Manager – Heavy Equipment

Responsibilities

- Manage, supervise and schedule maintenance technicians and mechanics

- Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for heavy equipment

- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports

- Manage parts inventory and coordinate with vendors and suppliers

- Develop maintenance budgets and control costs

- Train and mentor maintenance staff to improve performance and skills

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or parts, with supervisory or management experience preferred

- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and heavy machinery

- Proven leadership and team management skills

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree preferred

- Adaptable to changes within a short period of time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
