As our Maintenance/Electrician you’ll be deeply involved in maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimising a diverse array of industrial equipment. You’ll work through mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and welding systems—ensuring plant operations are safe, efficient, and continuously improving.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems: DC circuits and industrial high-voltage AC
- Identify and replace faulty electrical components
- Perform hydraulic diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
- Service chain and gear systems; plan and execute preventative maintenance
- Maintain and repair propane, diesel, and electric heavy machinery
- Perform clean, steel and SS welding for structural and equipment repairs
- Develop, document, and execute preventative maintenance schedules
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Definitely Valued)
- Maintain and repair of industrial burners
- Welding of SS materials
- Knowledge of Bag house operations
- Refractory repair and replace
- Minimum 3–4 years of industrial machine repair experience
- At least 1 year of structural steel welding experience
- Strong electrical aptitude with DC and high-voltage AC training
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and preventative maintenance principles
- Ability to work safely and precisely on heavy machinery
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills
