FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Department Supervisor oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities in a large-scale manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime by managing a skilled maintenance team and leveraging a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The supervisor is responsible for ensuring all work is conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Supervise a team of maintenance technicians responsible for maintaining production equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
•Utilize the company’s CMMS system to:
•Manage company owned assets and properties.
•Maintain automated maintenance scheduling for equipment and assets.
•Schedule and assign preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to teams and individual technicians.
•Track internal and 3rd party work orders, repair costs and maintenance histories.
•Maintain critical parts inventory and insure optimal use and control of spare parts and supplies through inventory tracking
and vendor coordination.
•Monitor asset performance and downtime trends.
•Generate maintenance performance reports and KPIs.
•Develop and manage 3rd party vendors to support the department with specialized equipment and addition capacity as required.
•Lead troubleshooting efforts and ensure timely resolution of equipment failures to support production continuity.
•Prioritize maintenance work based on urgency, safety, and production schedules, coordinating with production and engineering teams.
•Ensure compliance with all OSHA, EPA, ISO, Quality and company safety standards; promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
•Support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
•Maintain accurate records of equipment documentation, maintenance procedures, and compliance certifications within the CMMS.
•Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations for maintenance team members.
•Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, energy savings, and reliability enhancements.
Qualifications:
•3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
•Strong hands-on knowledge of industrial systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLCs).
•Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office platform especially Excel.
•Proven experience with a CMMS platforms, Fidelity utilizes FIIX by Rockwell Automation.
•Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, or Six Sigma is a plus.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
•Willingness to work flexible hours, including off-shifts or weekends, as needed.
Working Conditions:
•Work is performed in a manufacturing plant with exposure to industrial equipment, noise, temperature changes, and machinery.
•May require standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs.
•Fidelity maintains multiple production locations, some travel may be necessary.
