Job Description
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordination of mobile equipment maintenance and work order implementation
Successful applicant will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol evaluation.
Responsibilities•Track daily efforts on work orders to ensure timeline, budget and labour is in line with estimate.
•Analyze and populate system data based on established key performance measures; reconcile, interpret and present data for utilization by management.
•Assist Maintenance Planners as required with
+ scheduling and communication of maintenance plans to project sites
+ ensuring preventative work is completed on time
+ reviewing completed WOs to ensure accuracy and completeness
•Provide ERP process support to the shop and projects relating to data collection and analysis, closing work order(s), and reporting.
•Assist with Bills of Material (BOMs) by collecting information from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and populating into the ERP
•Respond to requests from site personnel for equipment information such as maintenance tooling, Spare parts lists, BOMs, etc.
•Assist in transferring assets by setting up WO’s and ensuring all required information is available.
•Participate in and host site meetings to support equipment troubleshooting, propose improvement ideas, and provide technical assistance as needed.
•Support the Maintenance Planners to revise and develop maintenance processes, templates and data for the ERP and CAM systems.
•Assist the maintenance team with day-to-day requirements such as project support, start-up and mobilization.
•Act as backup to sites for data entry when required and approved.
•Travel to sites as needed to assist with project start-ups, resolving specific process/training, demobilization, etc.
•Track and analyze equipment performance data and reliability KPIs to identify trends and recommend improvements.
•Schedule preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
•Develop and maintain short- and long-term maintenance strategies for fixed and/or mobile equipment based on manufacturer guidelines, regulatory guidelines, inspections, and historical data.
Qualifications
Education
Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Degree or Diploma in mechanical or maintenance, licensed trade
Work Experience
Required: 1-2 years' experience in an administrative/data entry role within the maintenance industry
Preferred: Previous work with equipment in a mining environment
