About the Opportunity - Reception & Front Desk Operations
Wyandotte Technologies, in support of the Southwestern Power Administration (SWPA), is seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Administrative Support Receptionist. This role is critical to daily operations at SWPA’s Tulsa headquarters and serves as the front line of customer service, administrative coordination, and mailroom operations.
This position provides comprehensive administrative, receptionist, and mail services support. The selected candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff and ensure efficient office operations in compliance with federal policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors
- Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries
- Maintain visitor logs and front desk coverage
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets
- Maintain filing systems in compliance with federal regulations
- Process incoming and outgoing mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS)
- Maintain mailroom operations during business hours
- Manage mail supplies and reporting
- Participate in DOE mail service coordination calls
- Maintain records and reduce unsolicited mail
- Work in a team-focused, collaborative environment
- Support cross-functional administrative needs
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to pass background clearance
- Onsite work required in Tulsa, OK
