- Assist in setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to produce accurate parts.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe work area.
- Monitor machine operations and report any issues to senior machinists or supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and quality.
- Learn and apply shop safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of a machining, manufacturing, or technical program preferred.
- Basic knowledge of machining principles, mechanical aptitude, and use of hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
