Assignment planning, layout, set-up, operating and making tool adjustments using conventional lathe, mill and grinding equipment (surface and rotary). Work from Blueprints, Sketches, Samples. Able to follow instructions.
- Able to machine or grind to .0005 tolerance.
- Able to perform surface and rotary grinding maintaining.
- Able to perform conventional lathe and perform single point threading.
- Able to perform conventional horizontal/vertical milling maintaining.
- Checks and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school or G.E.D, and 3 year- related experience
Language: Comprehend and follow through with simple instructions. Write simple correspondence. Speak and communicate effectively and professionally with other employees in the organization. Must have illustrative and technical communications abilities. Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
Computer: Learn Company’s basic computer and scanning systems. Use touchscreen system.
Mathematical: Basic Mathematics, Geometry, Trigonometry, Read Tape Measure, Micrometer & Veneer Calipers.
Reasoning:Apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define and resolve problems, must be meticulous and able to make routine recommendations.
