Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in New Ulm, MN. The Machinist will be responsible for operating various machine tools to manufacture and repair mechanical instruments and equipment. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and operating CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, cutting and fitting the materials, reading blueprints, and ensuring accuracy and precision in the manufacturing process. The Machinist will also be involved in routine maintenance of machinery and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Qualifications

- Experience with CNC machines, lathes, mills, and grinders

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Skills in machining, cutting, and fitting materials

- Knowledge of routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery

- Strong attention to detail and precision

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

- Relevant certification or technical training is preferred

- High school diploma required

- 2 year technical degree required
