High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to read blueprints, use calipers, protractors and machinist squares is a must; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-2 Years of machining experience, Job Shop, CNC experience a plus.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
