Machine Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, quality control measures, and a strong mechanical aptitude. The Machine Operator will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

- Operate machinery such skid loader, conveyors, forklifts, backhoe and front end loaders.

- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

- Utilize hand tools and tooling techniques for adjustments and repairs as needed.

- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet specifications.

- Handle materials safely, ensuring proper storage and organization within the factory environment.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and resolve any operational issues.

Skills

- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production.

- Experience with hand tools and mechanical knowledge for machine adjustments and repairs.

- Familiarity with materials handling practices within a factory setting.

- Knowledge of tooling processes relevant to machine operation.

- Understanding of quality control principles to maintain product standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
