Primary duties include general production labor activities under the direction of a mentor employee that include product assembly and various machine operation actions that progress to a machine operator position.
- High School Diploma
- 2-5 years manufacturing and machine operating experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Good understanding of safety protocols in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Aptitude for Math, problem solving, computer and mechanics
- Ability to work and communicate well with others
- Proficiency with hand tools
- Setup and change product materials in accordance with the production plan
- Continuously maintain or exceed production efficiency goals
- Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines including wire looms to produce metal parts and metal products such as wire screening, fencing, tinware, metal baskets, racks, hooks, metal tubing and similar articles
- Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools
- Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products
- Check products for quality and other specifications
- May clean and lubricate machinery
- Work in accordance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Other duties may be assigned accordingly
