Machine Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking motivated Production Operators to join our manufacturing team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will perform production line and material handling activities, ensure products meet quality standards, and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate production equipment and perform manual tasks to meet established production standards.

- Inspect materials, components, and final products to ensure quality compliance.

- Accurately complete and maintain batch records, logbooks, and official documentation.

- Perform lot changes, line clearances, cleaning operations, and equipment troubleshooting.

- Identify and handle non-conforming products.

- Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities, solve problems, and meet production goals.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction efforts.

- Adhere to all safety requirements, PPE usage, and company guidelines.

- Assist with material disposition, including work outdoors when required.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages).

- Ability to make minor mechanical adjustments and troubleshoot equipment.

- Must be able to pass GMP test and obtain area certifications.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted and up to 75 lbs. assisted.

- Varying levels of physical activity based on assignment.

- Requires use of safety shoes, hearing protection, and other PPE.

- Minimal travel (<5%).

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (Preferred)

- Night Shift (Preferred)

- Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: On the road
