The essential job responsibilities of the Machine Operator Gas position are to repair street cuts and set underground residential distribution transformers and transformer vaults.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

To perform the Machine Operator Gas role, you must:

- Have a valid driver's license from state of residence

- Obtain a Class A Commercial driver's license within six months of start date

- Must successfully complete Division's training program in Trencher Backhoe Operation

- Have skills in trencher backhoe operation

- Have knowledge and skills in utility construction

Physical Working Conditions:

Subject to hazards of construction work, operation of machinery while working outside under varying conditions; heavy lifting/carrying; and physical abilities such as climbing, bending, walking, standing, pulling and pushing.
