Logistics Operator C-1

Sandvik Mining, a global leader in equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry is looking for a Logistics Operator to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our customers and field teams with timely, accurate handling of parts and materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and parts according to established procedures.

- Prepare and package materials for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality of outgoing orders.

- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.

- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular counts, audits, and system updates.

- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards within the warehouse.

- Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and service teams to meet delivery timelines and resolve discrepancies.

- Assist in optimizing warehouse layout, space utilization, and operational procedures to improve efficiency.

Your Profile

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.

- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one) required.

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow shipping, receiving, and documentation procedures.

- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.

- Team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
