Logistics Manager

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the overall accuracy of all physical inventory

- Facilitate and coordinate semi-annual physical inventory

- Ensure accuracy on all function of inventory

- Auditing personnel on counting procedures and practices

- Forecast, schedule, and coordinate outbound shipments of products to our customers

- Schedule and coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers

- Direct contact for all Customs brokers import and export communications

- Identify opportunities for Inventory Control, Logistics, and Scheduling operation improvement

- Coordinate and track LTL (less-than-truckload) loads

- Continually research and negotiate freight rates to reduce shipping costs

- Track and report monthly shipping costs thru reviewing and approving all freight invoices including scrap freight and coding them accordingly for Accounts Payable department

- Prepare and send Customs paperwork for import and export shipments between US & Canada

- Ensure all drivers are compliant with US DOT regulations

- Ensure all US DOT regulations are met on required equipment

- Prioritize all line items as they reach Post-Production, assigning to shippable truckloads

- Adjust Post-Production truckload assignment priorities as necessary

Preferred:

- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
