The Logistics Coordinator facilitates communication between production, sales, and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain. You will focus on the movement and storage of items in our supply chain. You will manage the safe, efficient, and timely flow and warehousing of goods; actively implement and control the overall distribution concept and strategy. Once the product is ready for distribution, the Logistics Coordinator will perform a quality check. They will then review the purchase orders and will prepare the product for delivery.
As it is being delivered, the Logistics Coordinator will review and monitor the shipment’s delivery timeline and cost to ensure it reaches the customer the customer quickly and safely. If there are any shipment or inventory issues, the Logistics Coordinators are responsible for addressing and resolving them.
- Ensuring that work is performed safely, and that proper use of PPE is adhered to in the area.
- Leads by example through 5S Methodology.
- Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Tracking and fixing shipping errors
- Preparing bills and invoices
- Managing distribution and shipment budgets
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
- Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.

- Must be dependable and extremely trustworthy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two to four years related experience or equivalent.
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
