Job Title: Loader Operator

Job Summary:
Join our team at DAPP Power LP, as a Loader Operator, where you will play a vital role in our fuel yard operations. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Loader Operator is responsible for the day to day operation of the stockpiling and reclaiming of fuel to meet the integrated Plant Fuel Management Strategy.
Ensuring that the equipment and fuel supply is operated in a manner to maximize plant output by supporting an integrated fuel management plan focused on aging of fuel and fuel quality.
•Operating the Fuel Receiving line as necessary for the processing of fuel trucks
•Stockpiling processed fuel as per the fuel management plan in place at the time
•Operating the loader and other equipment in a safe manner and within the limits of the machinery at all times
•Reporting all equipment and fuel management issues to the Production Supervisor immediately, and taking corrective action as required
•Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in all areas worked
•Conducting daily checks of the mobile equipment and reporting or correcting deficiencies
•Performing scheduled PM tasks on equipment as assigned
•Documenting equipment problems through the creation of Work Requests which cannot be repaired by the Fuel Operator themselves
•Assisting within plant operations and / or maintenance when requested by the Production Supervisor
•Interacting in a positive manner with employees, contractors and clients
•Maintaining an accurate, informative log so that other team members understand the direction being taken in the fuel yard.
•Providing detailed communications during shift changes
Requirements are;
•2000 hours, or approximately 2 years’ experience operating front end loaders
•Valid and current Class 5 Driver’s License
•Basic comprehension and ability to follow DAPP Power’s LP Workplace Health and Safety requirements
•Ability to complete safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
•Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving containers and other heavy materials
•Strong work ethic and willingness to persevere through difficult weather conditions, challenging work site environments, and long demanding work days
•Ability to manage weather and/or seasonal interruptions in work schedule
