NDT Inspector - Mobile Lift Equipment
Job Overview
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for on-site inspection of Lift Equipment as per CSA Standards and Provincial Occupational Health and Safety Regulations. Carrying out Inspections using various Non-Destructive testing techniques including but not limited to Visual, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic and Brinell Hardness Testing of Materials.
Key Accountabilities
•Perform thorough inspection of equipment or related engineering inspection services in a timely, professional manner
•Evaluate and Interpret deficiencies in accordance with applicable CSA code.
•Prepare accurate field inspection report documents
•Maintain effective customer relations through service quality of inspection services
•Develop business by maintaining and growing the customer base via sales and marketing efforts in line with company customer care program
Required Qualifications
Experience and Education
•High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent
•Two or more years of NDT related experience
•CGSB Certification an asset
•Experience and/or certifications in welding an asset
•Possess a valid drivers license with clean driving record
Skills and Knowledge
•Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Any safety courses including H2S, Fall Protection, AWP Training an asset
•You are a highly motivated self starter with the ability to make decisions and work independently with integrity while supporting company objectives and policies
Working Conditions
•Candidates are required to meet Company and Oilsands Drug & Alcohol Standards
•Job sites include Oilsands Project sites including Suncor, Syncrude, CNRL and others
•Candidates must not have any site bans
