Overview
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Canyon Country operation. This position will primarily operate a WHEEL LOADER and EXCAVATOR, with occasional use of a skid steer, fork lift, water truck and street sweeper.
Responsibilities
•
Operate heavy equipment such as WHEEL LOADER and EXCAVATOR, with occasional use of a skid steer, fork lift, water truck and street sweeper.
•
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks.
•
Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
•
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
•
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and project progress.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly wheel loaders and excavators
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues on-site.
•
Familiarity with construction site operations and safety practices.
•
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
•
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
•
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
