Must have experience repairing small engines: zero turn mowers, tractors, chain saws, weed eaters, trenchers, lifts, engine repair on generators and air compressors (most two and four-cycle equipment). Any experience with ATV is a bonus. (All tools supplied.)
Test, inspect and DIAGNOSS equipment for malfunctioning parts;
Write equipment work orders identifying parts necessary to repair equipment;
Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts;
Keep records (readable) of inspections, test results, work performed, and parts used;
Able to bend, lift, crouch, kneel, twist, lay, sit, and stand repeatedly and for long periods of time;
Able to read and understand service and repair manuals;
Able to communicate well with customers making sure they have a clear understanding of needed repairs and cost related to repairs (both in person and on phone).
Able to communicate with manufacturer service technicians over the phone to complete a repair;
Be team oriented and a hard worker who takes pride in his/her work;
Be available to work M-F and some Saturdays as necessary (until Noon);
