Job Description Summary

Project Engineer focuses on the holistic design and integration of power conversion systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and efficiency requirements for the projects and programs in which they are directly leading.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities
- Define system requirements based on customer specifications and project objectives.
- Conduct system-level simulations and analyses to optimize performance and ensure compliance with industry standards. Also, perform system-level testing and validation to verify functionality and performance.
- Perform system optimization studies to meet customer requirments and differentiate GE Vernova system solutions for Marine and Naval applications
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate subsystems and components into the overall system design.
- Ensure the earliest mobilization of adequate engineering skills and resources in line with engineering activities requirements (workload and complexity) and associated budgets.
- Issue/prepare change orders from an engineering point of view with the Project Manager for further release to the Customer.
- Ensure proper distribution of engineering documents, internally and externally.
- Participate in CMR (Change Management Review), Project reviews.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers and stakeholders to understand system requirements and ensure accurate representation of load profiles.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 5 years of experience in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Systems Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience in optimizing and specifying components in an Integrated Power and Propulsion System for Naval and Marine vessels.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
