Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Ensure the erection, commissioning and maintenance of PTR systems and provide relevant support equipment. Commission test results approval, as well as hands on training High voltage Power Transformers Commissioning and Assembling. Carry out the Root Cause analysis on failure transformers. Provide onsite technical support on repairs, assembling, oil processing and commissioning tests for High Voltage Alternating Current and High Voltage Direct Current Transformers. Prepare progress reports, test results, and non-compliance report. Participate in the drafting of technical procedures. Participate in the development of inspection criteria in collaboration with customers and engineering team.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related. Eight (8) years of experience in Power Transformers erection, dressing up, oil treatment, and testing. Work experience to include: Assembly, Commissioning and Maintenance of Power Transformers, Shunt Reactors, and High Voltage Direct Current Transformers; Factory transformer, manufacturing and reactor experience; Oil treatment plan; On site analysis of test results for Omicron Testrano and doble M7100; Design of oil cooling system update; Prepare progress reports, test results, non-compliance report; Annotating and editing drawings 'as built'; Participate in the drafting of technical procedures; and Resource planning, equipment and time for commissioning, repair or maintenance expertise. 100% telecommute position. When not telecommuting, must report to office at 7882 Horseshoe Circle, Houston, TX 77396.
