We are seeking a skilled Lead Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of enterprise-level access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems in medium and large commercial buildings.
Pay Range 30-40/HR
Responsibilities:
•Install and program access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems.
•Work with systems such as Lenel RS2, Software House (CCURE), Hanwha, DMP, Bosch, Brivo, Hikvision, Avigilon, and Milestone.
•Execute installation project plans, including delivery, troubleshooting, and commissioning, to exceed customer expectations.
•Interface with other trades, communicate effectively with building foremen, and identify out-of-scope requests, notifying management of pending changes.
•Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
•Evaluate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
•Attend training classes as assigned and assist with suggested solutions for efficient installations.
•Communicate project status effectively to project management and complete all required company paperwork.
Required Qualifications:
•5+ years of work experience as a Senior/Lead Technician with a security integrator (including current manufacturer certifications).
•Preferred manufacturer certifications in the following areas:
•Video Surveillance: Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, Bosch, Axis, Hanwha, Exacq.
•Access Control: Lenel, Software House, Avigilon, Genetec, Identiv, Honeywell, Open Path, RS2, S2, AMAG, Gallagher, Open Options.
•Intrusion: DMP, DSC, Honeywell, Bosch.
•Locking Hardware: Maglocks, Strikes, Mortise, Cylindrical, ADA applications.
•Industry experience working with access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems.
•Experience in sectors such as healthcare, education, manufacturing, utilities, financial, and hospitality.
•Proficiency in data terminations.
Basic Qualifications:
•Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
•Applicants must meet requirements related to background and driving records.
•Proficient in the use and application of industry-related equipment, including MS Office.
•Excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
•Ability to explain and demonstrate the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
•Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.
•Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Physical Requirements:
•Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
•Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools as required, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
