SUMMARY

Battery Installers are a critical part of the Stellar installation team. They are responsible for installing battery backup for homeowners as part of their solar package. Battery installers will work in tandem with our solar installation teams to install and connect residential energy storage systems and/or commission those systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Install, connect and commission residential battery systems

- Remotely identify and troubleshoot installed battery systems displaying incorrect or improper production or consumption load profiles

- Creating and configuring monitoring portals for customer battery systems in appropriate manufacturer software (Enphase and Tesla)

- Provide exceptional customer service via in person while on installation sites

- Creating and configuring monitoring portals for customer battery systems online

- Educate customers on how to monitor and review battery portals

- Performing solar installation and other tasks as assigned by manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a battery installation role required

- Experience with Tesla, Enphase & FranklinWH

- Experience with failure analysis/diagnosis and the process used

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required

- Ability to work with minimal supervision required

- High School diplomas or general education degree (GED) required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

- Previous troubleshooting experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
